ysr-congress-party-I-PacAs elections in Andhra Pradesh are fast approaching, several surveys are floating around. Here is one survey allegedly done by I-PAC confined to Uttarandhra specifically.

The Survey gives Sensational majority to the Opposition Telugu Desam Party. Out of the Ten assembly segments in Srikakulam, TDP is ahead of nine segments. YSR Congress is ahead in the ST reserved constituency- Palakonda.

In the nine seats in Vizianagaram district, YSR Congress is ahead in Gajapathinagaram, Srunagavarapukota, and Parvathipuram. TDP had a very slender lead in Salur constituency and is much ahead in the remaining five seats.

In Vishakapatnam district’s fifteen seats, TDP maintains clear lead as per this survey. Except for ST seats in Araku Valley and Paderu and two other seats like Pendurthi and Payakaraopeta, TDP is ahead in all the remaining seats. Like in 2019 elections, TDP will keep all the four seats under Vishakapatnam city indicating there is no capital sentiment.

Janasena is in the competition only in Gajuwaka constituency where Pawan Kalyan is the candidate in 2019. The party is in second position here and the Ruling Party is in third position.

In the 34 seats of Uttarandhra, this survey gives only Eight seats to YSR Congress and remaining 26 to TDP.

The survey says it has collected 20000 samples in each constituency which is around 9-12% of the total voters which is quite good.

Also, this is when no alliances are considered. The majorities can be staggering and the number may go up if there is an alliance between TDP and Janasena.

Previously there was a survey in the name of Ministers specifically which also paints a grim picture of YSR Congress’s condition.

We can not vouch for their authenticity and so have to be taken with a pinch of salt. Even if true, I-PAC will obviously dissociate with it.
