We have been cursing them seeing the videos of a few policemen resorting to violence on violators. But there is another side of the story as well. The police in the frontline are most vulnerable to the contagious virus.

It is known to our readers that a 56-year-old Head Constable Munawwar Khan was attached to Saifabad Police Station and posted at a check post at Telugu Talli flyover near State Secretariat, was found coronavirus positive following which he was admitted in Gandhi hospital.

His family members were isolated. After the test was done for 19 people, the blood report revealed that 4 members of the head constable’s family were tested positive for COVID-19. His Five-year-old grandchild, two of his married sons, and his daughter are tested positive.

They are shifted to Gandhi Hospital for treatment. According to the medical bulletin released last night, Telangana has got 531 cases.
