L&T, the concessionaire of Hyderabad Metro Rail Project was given 269 acres of land in various parts of Hyderabad to make the project viable. L&T is planning Malls and Real Estate ventures in these lands. In the first phase, L&T will be investing 2243 Crore.
These malls are named as ‘Hyderabad Next’ and will be integrated to the nearest Metro Stations. In these malls, 40 Multiplex theaters will also come up. These Malls will come up at Hitec City, Moosarambagh, Erra Manzil, Rayadurgam, Uppal, Miyapur, Nagole and other areas.
The Malls at Hitec City, Moosarambagh and Erra Manzil are nearing completion. Along with these, every Metro Station will also have shopping complexes. These business establishments will help L&T to recover their investment on the project.
