Finally, the much-awaited Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is going to start running at least partially. The First Phase of the project – the 30 Km stretch from Nagole to Miyapur will be inaugurated on 28th November by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Modi will be in Hyderabad from November 28th to 30th to inaugurate the Global Entrepreneurs Summit being held in Hyderabad. For the convenience of the Prime Minister, the Metro Rail Inauguration is also planned at the same time.
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao wrote a letter to the Prime Minister to inaugurate the project and will await the approval of the Prime Minister’s Office. We are told that the PM had already agreed to KCR’s invitation during his previous meeting in Delhi.
