Hyderabad Gears up for Hosting Its First Ever Test MatchHyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) is jubilant as Uppal Stadium is gearing up to host its first ever Test Match between India and Bangladesh starting from February 9th. The Association is planning to bring out a souvenir to commemorate the historical occasion.

The publication of the souvenir is the revival of an old tradition of publishing a souvenir whenever an international match was allotted to HCA. The practice first began when the first Commonwealth Cricket Team visited India and HCA organized a match and was followed till the early nineties.

The brochure will be compiled, designed and produced by the former HCA Secretary and Manager of the 1983 World Cup winning Indian Team, PR Man Singh. It would contain articles written by legendary cricketers and other well known writers. It will also have cartoons and the statistics of the matches played between India and Bangladesh.
