In a very unfortunate incident, twelve year old boy from Balapur in Hyderabad died in a fire incident where the boy voluntarily set himself on fire in an attempt of imitating one of the cartoon characters that he watched last time.
The boy named Madugula Jaideep used to live with his grandparents in Balapur. As the grandparents reported, the boy was watching a cartoon show on the television on Thursday night after dinner while the grandparents were into other work. Jaideep said he wants to show some stunt and went upstairs after which the grandparents heard the boy shouting and ran upstairs only to see the boy in flames.
The boy set himself on fire using kerosene. The incident occurred at 10.30PM as reported. Though they doused the fire and took the kid to the hospital immediately, the kid couldn’t survive the burns and died on Friday.
A case has been registered on the suspicious death of the boy by his father and the inquiry in on.
