Settlers of Andhra Pradesh have voted en masse to TRS in GHMC Elections and now all eyes are on their votes in the upcoming Assembly elections in December. Settlers form a decisive chunk of voters in 35 constituencies in former districts of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Khammam, and Nizamabad.
During the GHMC Elections, both TDP and Congress looked clueless and normally local elections will go to the ruling party. So, it was an easy sailing for TRS in that elections. Both the parties will be hoping that their traditional vote bank will be back to them in the ensuing elections.
On the other side, TRS is expecting that they have settlers on its side in the Urban Areas. That means it should have favorable conditions in more than 20 seats of the GHMC Area. Serlingampally, Kukatpally, and Qutubullahpur have the highest presence of Settlers i.e., in Lakhs.
