Minister Harish Rao made sure that the ruling party won Narayankhed by-election with a thumping majority. There is nothing but Harish Rao’s hard work in this extraordinary victory. Harish Rao concentrated on the constituency for about 5 months. He stayed in the constituency for more than 20 days.
Harish himself reached to the voters in about 100 villages under five mandals in the constituency. There are 1000s of native voters in the district who migrated to other places, Harish Rao made sure that they come back and vote for TRS. Harish Rao showered several promises to the constituency and got a feel that the constituency development is possible only due to TRS.
As a result, Narayankhed which is a bastion for Congress since 1952 is now conquered. The constituency was previously won by Congress eleven out of the 14 elections that happened after 1952. More over it is seat that went to by-elections following the death of a sitting Congress MLA. In all possible ways, the victory is special.
