Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu seemed to have a tough time in selecting the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board. Besides few leaders and MLAs of Telugu Desam Party, Chandrababu Naidu seem to have taken the recommendations of various biggies in deciding the board members. BJP President Amit Shah recommended V.Krishnamurthy from Tamil Nadu.
Former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J.Jayalalitha recommended J.Sekhar from Chennai. One more from Tamil Nadu, Sampath Ravi Narayan was recommended by Union Minister Rajnath Singh, DP Ananth of Karnataka was recommended by Union Minister Uma Bharathi. Pasupuleti Hari Prasad, a doctor from Tirupati was recommended by Janasena President, Pawan Kalyan. Hari Prasad previously actively worked in Praja Rajyam Party.
Industrialist Ella Suchitra is a close family friend of Chandrababu Naidu himself. Director Raghavendra Rao is one of the loyal TDP workers from film industry for a long time. Both of them have got berths in board. Two Telangana TDP MLAs were also accomodated. However the newly elected board members are disappointed that their tenure is just one year. Totally Chandrababu made sure that every one are satisfied with the TTD Board.
