How and Why KCR Can Lose Gajwel?A Section of media has been predicting that it may be tough for KCR in Gajwel this time as the Opposition Vote is strongly consolidating to Vanteru Pratap Reddy of Congress. Gajwel and Kodangal may be the only Constituencies where there will be a 100% transfer of Votes from TDP to Congress.

Vanteru is known to be very close to the electorate in the constituency and there is also a sympathy on him for the previous losses. If not for KCR, it should have been cakewalk for him in 2014 or the coming elections. Some sections of the media say it is either going to be a tight election or a defeat for the TRS Supremo.

They confidently say even if KCR wins, the majority will be less than 5000 Votes. Harish Rao is personally supervising this election for obvious reasons. Then, there is this argument why the election will be ao close given that it is the CM who is in the fray and obviously KCR did some or much development in the constituency.

There are several instances in the past where the sitting CMs have lost. Even the Legendary NT Ramarao is also not prone to such surprise defeats. Recently we have seen the sitting CM Siddaramaiah lose in his own constituency. Siddu luckily saved the face by contesting in another constituency. There are reports that KCR may contest from Medchal as well along with Gajwel to be on safe side but such a move will send wrong signals. If at all, KCR contests from the two constituencies, he will definitely lose Gajwel.
