CPI (M) State Secretary Thammineni Veerabhadram has proposed sending Miryalaguda Honour Killing Victim, Pranay’s wife, Amrutha Varshini unanimously to the Assembly if all the political parties agree to the Proposal.
CPI(M) offered to give a ticket to Amrutha on the behalf of the Bahujan Liberation Front. “Amrutha is very stubborn to fight against the caste hegemony which killed her husband. She should be in the Assembly to showcase her fight.
CPI(M) offered to withdraw its candidate Julakanti Rangareddy from Miryalaguda if all the parties agree. But then, the fact is that Amrutha is just 21 years old while the minimum age for election as MLA is 25 years according to Article 173(b) of the constitution.
