Hoarding Advertisers Make Their Way to AmaravatiUsually, sleepy villages of the Capital region are bustling with activity since the state government had shifted its administration from Hyderabad to the interim secretariat in Velagapudi. As the Chief Minister is also working from the secretariat, the leaders are in a rush to put up banners and hoardings to impress him.

As a result the demand for hoardings gained momentum and the advertising agencies have made their way wooing people to rent their houses and properties to put up the hoardings paying fixed monthly rent to the owners.

In Mandadam village alone, as many as 20 big hoardings have been set up on top of the houses. As of now, the agencies are paying 3000 per month with a promise that they will install the hoardings without causing any damage to the properties.
