High Court of Andhra PradeshAndhra Pradesh High Court had interfered in the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Border conflict. A huge number of students and employees who got stranded due to the closure of the hostels and PGs obtained NOCs from Telangana Police only to be stopped at Andhra Pradesh Border.

Andhra Pradesh Government had clarified that they will be only allowed if they agree to stay in Government Isolation facilities for 14 days. A majority did not agree for that and they are stranded at the border for the last couple of days. The High Court granted minor relief for them.

The court asked the officials to test all of them. Those who are unwell and with symptoms should go to the Government Quarantine Facilities for 14 days and who are asymptomatic be home quarantined for 14 days. This should solve the problem for now.

On the other side, the Telangana Government had instructed hostels not to shutdown during the Lockdown period. However, the hostel owners say that there is an acute shortage of daily essentials for them and also when available, the skyrocketing rates have made their business untenable.
