High Court Grants Bail to TV9 -RaviprakashTelangana High Court has instructed Kukatpally court to grant bail for TV9 Former CEO Raviprakash. He is asked to submit a Personal Bond and two sureties worth 15000 Rupees each. The court also refused the Police Petition to give him to their custody in the case of funds diversion during his tenure as TV9 CEO.

Earlier, the court made severe comments on the Police for registering back to back cases on Raviprakash so that he stays in jail in one case even though he gets bail in another case. The court sees this an intentional ploy to keep him behind the bars for the maximum time and granted him the bail.

It is known that Raviprakash is in trouble ever since Alanda Media bought over 90.54% stake in Associated Broadcasting Company Private Limited (ABCPL), the parent company of TV9. Raviprakash alleges that the new management has illegally taken over the company with the support of the ruling party in Telangana.

He was shown door out of the company and the new management is on a spree to file cases on him.
