The election hungama is round the corner with Medak Lok Sabha which was vacated by K Chandra Sekhar Rao is all set to go for a bypoll. Needless to say, TRS is the hot favourite in the seat and there is so much of demand for the party ticket. G Deviprasad Rao, chairman of the Telangana Non-Gazetted Officers Association (TNGO) and Mynampalli Hanumantha Rao who joined TRS just before the election and lost in Malkajgiri are expecting the ticket.
On the other side, there are several rich with out political background pieing for the ticket since a win is almost on cards. Sony Travels owner K Prabhakar Reddy, who has net assets worth over Rs 1,000 crore, and Mahidara Constructions promoter Prashanth Reddy, with assets more than Rs 2,000 crore have already started lobbying for the ticket. It is said that they are ready to offer big amounts as party fund to get the ticket.
