Telangana government had taken Haritha Haram Program for the second time on a trot. Last year’s Haritha Haram ended up as a failure, so the government came up with better home work this time. This year, Haritha Haram seem to have kicked off much successfully. Government machinery came up with a better plan prompted people and celebrities participation.
The Primary target is to give the feel Telangana government is doing every thing that it could to increase the Green Cover which gives a positive feel to the government. And then as any program in the recent past, KTR shouldered it all in all, giving that ‘Successor of KCR’ and ‘Number Two’ feel yet again.
Celebrities have rushed to participate in big numbers in Haritha Haram sending a straight message that the government is including settlers as well in the development. Incidentally, the program gave a feel that Andhra celebrities are in more sync with Telangana government than Andhra government whatever the reasons may be.
Political observers say this move will send a message to the settlers that they have to come Telangana way as the government is compassionate towards Andhra People despite the initial fears during the bifurcation time. All these targets may or may not be planned by Telangana government, but all of them are met with and came as an added advantage. If the primary target of increasing Green Cover is more success, Hyderabad will be a better place to live in when compared to other cities in the country.
