Etela Rajender who is recently ousted from Telangana Cabinet is likely to resign as MLA and ensure by-elections for his Huzurabad constituency. There are rumors that TRS may field Harish Rao or Vinod Kumar against the former minister.
Etela Rajender responded about it in an interview. “If there is someone who is insulted the most in TRS, it is Harish Rao. He has been subjected to humiliation for years together. One day, I, Jagadish Reddy, and Harish were shunted out of Pragathi Bhavan. We came down and cried for one hour at 3 AM one day,” Etela Rajender revealed.
“I used to talk harshly because I was unable to take the humiliation. That’s the reason why I was sent out of the cabinet. Self-Respect is more important than anything else. These minister posts and all others are temporary. They come and go,” he added.
There are rumors that Etela Rajender is actively working on a new political party. “I never have an intention to float a new party or join any other party until I was removed from the cabinet,” Etela Rajender said refusing to divulge further details.
