GVL Narasimha RaoBJP Rajya Sabha MP GVL Narasimha Rao seems to be desperate to get some felicitations from the Kapu community. Recently, GVL Narasimha Rao asked in the Rajya Sabha if the 5% reservations given to the Kapu community in Andhra Pradesh are valid.

It is a ploy to corner Chandrababu Naidu who gave the quota if the central government replied negatively. But the concerned minister confirmed that it is valid.

In such a case, Chandrababu should get the credit and Jagan should get brickbats for not implementing the quota. But GVL got some felicitations from the Kapu community people just for asking the question.

He seems to be craving more of them. Today in Rajya Sabha, he demanded that a district should be named after Late Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga. Naming or renaming a district is the prerogative of the state governments.

It is a surprise GVL placed the demand in the Parliament.

It is to be noted GVL never made such a demand when the Jagan Government is doing the reorganization of the districts.

But then, this is election season and moreover, GVL is craving another round of Sanmanalu.
