A casino organized in the Gudivada constituency for Sankranthi this year created a huge political storm in Andhra Pradesh.
The Opposition made allegations against the then Minister Kodali Nani and MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi. But then, the government did not pursue the matter further.
The Casino organizer Chikoti Praveen later came under the ED scanner in a different case and the Gudivada Casino issue came back once again.
Back then, TDP complained to CBDT, ED, DRI, and Union Finance and Home Ministries about this casino. IT department shifted focus to this case.
They issued notices to TDP’s Varla Ramaiah, the complainant of this case to come to them on the 19th of this month and give all the evidence available to him.
If TDP is able to furnish any substantial evidence, it can trouble the Government big time.
