With record corona deaths in New York over 5000 and positive cases over 100,000 people tested positive, New York has become the hub of the horrors that we had to witness due to corona outbreak.

Aerial drone shots and recorded videos of mass burials will send a chill down the spines of many to imagine the perils that would be lying ahead in the coming days with the increase in the deaths of corona positive patients.

Families who couldn’t afford funerals or unclaimed bodies of individuals need to be dispatched to make space for the smooth running of the present service providers in New York amidst the pandemic. So, contract labourers were hired to bury the bodies.

Earlier, the officials used to wait for a month for unclaimed bodies, but now, the situation is gruesome and hence, the waiting period is decreased to 14 days. If no one turns up after this period, then the bodies would be taken for burial in Hart Island.
