Nellore district politics changed all of sudden. Jagan has given a cabinet berth to Kakani Govardhan Reddy by sending Anil Kumar Yadav out.
Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy who expected a berth broke out before the media. Kovvuru MLA Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy is also disappointed about missing out.
And with this, YSRCP leaders and MLAs in the districts are ganging up against Kakani.
MLA Anil Kumar met Minister Kakani’s opponents. In Sajjapuram, he met with MLA Sridhar Reddy and YSRCP Chief Secretary Giridhar Reddy. The secret talks lasted for about two hours.
Anil also recently met Kovur MLA Nallapareddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy.
There are rumors in the district that they have agreed not to co-operate with Kakani.
They also reportedly made phone calls to other MLAs of the district and told them not to cooperate with Kakani.
In the 2019 elections, YSR Congress won all the ten assembly segments in the erstwhile Nellore district. Now, there are signs of decline in the district, and party supporters are worried.
