Govt Tries Its Best to Divert People’s Attention From CBN’s Sand Deeksha
Former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu sat for a 12-hour long Deeksha in Vijayawada today protesting against the shortage of Sand and demanding compensation to those who have taken their lives. The government tried its level best to foil the Deeksha. First, it has refused permission for the Deeksha but the TDP leaders have made their alternate arrangements.

The ruling party resorted to diversion tactics at the last minute as well. The news of Devineni Avinash joining the YSR Congress was leaked to the media so that it would grab the entire media space. YSR Congress MLA, Pardhasaradhi also sat for a counter-Deeksha alleging that TDP resorted to Sand mafia during their tenure.
The biggest of all is an old trick of YSR Congress. The government had deployed CID on an IT company, Blue Frog Technologies alleging that it has hacked the Sand Website at the behest of Nara Lokesh and tried to create an artificial shortage. The news was all over the media supporting the ruling party trying to confuse the people.
Janasena and Lok Satta leaders will be attending Chandrababu’s Deeksha in support of the issue while Congress and the communist parties have extended their solidarity. As Chandrababu sat for the Deeksha, the hashtags like #YCPSandMadia and #CBNAgitation4Sand were trending across the nation.
