NDA Government is gearing up to appoint Governors vacant in various states of the country. ESL Narasimhan is retiring sometime the next month and both the Telugu States will have different Governors. Buzz is that Kiran Bedi who is the Lieutenant Governor of Pondicherry may be sent to AP.
Kiran Bedi is known to be a very active Governor and often entered into a tussle with the Congress Government in Pondicherry. It has to be seen how the relationship between Naidu and Kiran Bedi will emerge in the coming days.
TDP (TS) Senior Leader, Mothukupalli Narasimhulu is likely to be appointed as the Governor of Meghalaya. ESL Narasimhan even though a UPA appointee impressed Narendra Modi and his services may be used in some other state.
