Government of India Hints At Complete Lockdown There is an overwhelming response for the Janatha Curfew imposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi across the country. Telangana is observing 24-hour curfew until 6 AM tomorrow. On the other side, it looks like the Government is looking towards a complete lockdown.

The cabinet secretary in a review meeting with Chief Secretaries of States was advised to issue appropriate orders to allow only essential services to operate in the 75 districts which have reported confirmed cases or casualties relating to COVID-19. The Government of India had asked the states to expand the list depending on their assessment of the situation.

If the situation goes out of the hand, the lockdown may be extended to the entire country. Indian Railways announced the canceling of all passenger trains till the 31st of this month. All metro services across the country will also stay shut. Hyderabad Metro Rail Services already announced the shutdown already.

Meanwhile, the total number of cases in India has touched 347 with Six Deaths so far. In the case of Telangana, the count reached 22 while Andhra Pradesh recorded five cases. The country had registered Six Deaths. All of them are aged above 60 years
