One More MP from TDP is joining YSR Congress. Amalapuram MP Pandula Ravindra Babu is leaving the party and will meet Jagan Mohan Reddy in his Lotus Pond Residence today or tomorrow. Pandula was infamous for his controversial remarks on Indian Army saying that they join the Army for Free Liquor and Non-Veg.
Pandula was refused Ticket this time and the party did not even promise him an MLA Ticket. YSR Congress is fielding him as an MLA candidate from P Gannavaram or Razole. Reports are that TDP is planning to field Harish Mathur, the Young Son of Late GMC Balayogi from Amalapuram Lok Sabha Segment.
GMC Balayogi is the first Dalit Speaker of Lok Sabha. He strived a lot for the development of Amalapuram. He, unfortunately, breathed his last in a helicopter crash in 2002. TDP believes that the people will reciprocate to Balayogi’s death by ensuring the victory of his son.
