Even after 20 days of the Intensive Household Survey of Telangana, GHMC which is entrusted the task of data entry of the collected information is struggling to complete the task. Out of the 20 Lakh households that are collected as the part of the survey, GHMC just managed to data entry 64000 households. It is said that the actual data entry started only from August 30th due to delay in finalizing of the tenders.

Also GHMC is still collecting the information of the citizens on various complaints. GHMC is paying Rs 15 for the data entry of each household in Greater Hyderabad. Data entry in all Telangana districts except Greater Hyderabad began on August 22 and will be completed by September 10. It is also said that the data entry process is taking more time than expected as not all enumerators used the given codes correctly while collecting information from households.
