Gap Widens between TRS MLAs and CollectorsThe tussles between the collectors and Ruling Party MLAs have emerged as a headache for Chief Minister K Chandrasekhara Rao in the recent times. Local MLAs are not giving due respect to the Collectors of various districts sending wrong signals to the people.

Collectors are alleging corruption on some MLAs directly and MLAs are seen abusing the collectors in public. Jangaon Collector Devasena sent a report to the government that TRS MLA Muttireddy Yadagiri Reddy encroached 5 acres of Temple Land.

Mahabubabad MLA Shankar Naik reportedly misbehaved with the district collector, Preethi Meena. KCR had to intervene and make him apologize to the Collector. Such things belittle the image of the government in People.

At the same time, there is discontent in MLAs that KCR is giving over importance to bureaucrats who are bypassing the Local MLAs. Next two years are going to be crucial for the ruling party and they need to strike balance between both the sides to ensure that the works necessary before the elections are taken off smoothly.
