Gali Janardhan Reddy To Contest on BJP Ticket?Tainted Mining Baron Gali Janardhan Reddy may contest in the upcoming Karnataka Assembly Elections on BJP Ticket. His brother, Soma Sekhar Reddy has revealed it to the media and Gali will contest from his earlier seat, Bellary.

After languishing in jail for about three years, Gali is out on bail. Even though the party has officially distanced itself from him, he is organizing Caste meetings to garner the support for the Saffron Party. But fielding the main accused in the Rs 50,000-crore mining scam will have several questions asked to the party which calls itself the anti-Corruption Crusader.

Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brother propelled the BJP to its first-ever win in a southern state with their money and muscle power in 2008. It is appalling that BJP is using them for its political gains even after their involvement in huge scams.

Currently, the wind is blowing against the Saffron Party in Karnataka and so BJP is using all the tricks in the trade to win the only state in the South where it has a considerable presence. Karnataka elections will happen on May 12th and the counting will take place on 18th.
