People’s Singer, Gaddar had announced that he will not be contesting the upcoming by-election of Warangal Lok Sabha segment. Various communist parties have requested Gaddar to contest as their common candidate.
Few Dalit organizations also met Gaddar this morning requesting him to contest but he refused them politely. Gaddar’s contest would have made the election tough for the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
The by-election was necessitated with the resignation of Kadiyam Srihari who left the parliament seat to become the deputy CM of the state. Every one expected the by-election schedule to be announced with Bihar elections, but election commission paused the announcement for some reason.
