YS Jagan Mohan Reddy‘s cabinet reshuffle is round the corner. The new cabinet, the election team is going to take oath on the 11th of this month.
The existing ministers are making their last effort to keep their posts while the MLAs are trying their level best to get the final chance before the elections.
Labour Minister Gummanuru Jayaram has got the recommendation of Mining Baron Gaali Janardhan Reddy to get him continued in the cabinet.
Gaali is so close to Late YSR. The Former CM used to call him his foster son. Gaali is also the accused in some of Jagan’s disproportionate assets cases.
Even though not in public, Jagan and Gaali have good relations. We will have to see if the recommendation works.
Jayaram hails from Kurnool district. Hafeez Khan is expecting a cabinet berth from the district in the Muslim minority quota.
Jagan is keen on replacing all the current ministers. Retaining a few may invite dissatisfaction from the others who lost power. So, he is treading carefully on this issue.
