Amaravati Despite a reluctant and non co-operating Center, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is taking brisk steps towards the dream Capital of AP people. Naidu is deploying teams to study the best practices across the globe to implement in Amravati. A team led by D Lakshmi Parthasarathy, CMD of Capital City Development and Management Committee (CCDMC) will tour the Guizhou province, China to study urban infrastructure from May 5 to May 10.

Another five-member team headed by B Sam Bob, Special Chief Secretary (Transport department), will visit San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles and Dallas in the United States from May 11 to May 23 to study expressways. They will be studying road development activities there which will be incorporated in the proposed Amaravati – Anantapur Expressway.

The expenses of the tour will be borne by Aarvee Associates Consultants, who were appointed for the preparation of Techno Economic Feasibility Study for the expressway project. Already Naidu and his team of minister have undertaken various foreign tours. The findings are all documented and will be incorporated in Amaravati construction.
