YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in all probability will be contesting from Pulivendula, his father’s constituency this time as he has the aspirations of becoming Chief Minister. So far Jagan is representing Kadapa Parliament. In the bielections after YSR’s death, Vijayamma contested from there and won with record majority. And now Jagan is planning to field from other constituency out of Kadapa so that her presence will boost the chances of YSR Congress in that district.
It is said that Jagan is planning to field Vijayamma from Anaparthi Assembly constituency or Vishakapatnam Parliament constituency. There is also a talk that Sharmila may contest from Vishakapatnam MP. Anaparthi is a safe seat as the constituency is dominated by Reddys. In such case, Sharmila contests from Vishakapatnam and Vijayamma fromAnaparthi, they will be able to influence all the constituencies from Srikakulam to West Godavari.
