Fresh Case of Coronavirus Reported in Telangana Barely Twelve Hours after Telangana’s first Coronavirus patient got discharged and went home, the State has registered a new case of the Wuhan born Virus. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the State Assembly announced that a person who came back from Italy tested Positive for CoVID-19.

The Chief Minister added that the patient is being treated in Gandhi Hospital. He also added that two other persons are also suspected to be infected and their samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology in Pune. The State Government is awaiting the results.

The Chief Minister assured the people that there is nothing to worry and the State is well-prepared to handle this crisis if it gets there. “We are ready to spend not 1000 Crore but 5000 Crore of necessary. We will discuss in the Cabinets to see what steps are needed to curb the chances of community spreading,’ the Chief Minister said.

KCR also added that the State Government has noted the neighbouring states shutting down film theaters and other public places. “A high level committee was constituted to look into the steps that needs to be taken,” KCR added.
