Four States in India Become Corona FreeFour states in India have become Corona free now. There are no new cases reported in Goa, Tripura, and Manipur for quite some days now and the only patient in Arunachal Pradesh got cured of coronavirus. All these are small states, as one could see.

The state governments are now planning to bring the people stranded outside their states They are discussing logistics to be put in place for quarantining the people coming from outside. A Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been prepared for screening and testing the people returning to the state.

According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of cases in the country are 26,496‬. The total number of cases in Maharashtra, the worst affected state, has risen to 7628 with 323 deaths. The other states that have seen the most number of cases include Delhi (2625), Tamil Nadu (1821), Rajasthan (2083), Madhya Pradesh (2096), Gujarat (3071), and Uttar Pradesh (1793).

All eyes are on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s next step as the nationwide Lockdown will expire on May 3rd.
