Former TDP Minister is no more

Pusapati Ananda Gajapthi Raju diedFormer TDP Minister and MP, Pusapati Ananda Gajapathi Raju is now no more. He passed away this morning after being treated in Manipal hospital in Vishakapatnam. He is the brother of Union Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju. He worked as Minister in state cabinet twice and twice as Member of Parliament.

Ananda Gajapathi Raju forayed in to politics in 1983 with NTR’s call. He worked as Education and Finance Minister in NTR’s cabinet. He was elected twice as MP from Bobbili. He established Maansas Trust to help the poor and is the trust Chairman. The trust is running several Engineering, Degree and Junior Colleges.

His mortal remains were brought to Vizianagaram. “Saddened to hear about the demise of Sri Ananda Gajapathi Raju who served as a former minister in AP. My condolences to his family members,” Chandrababu Naidu tweeted his condolences message.
