Former minister Kothapalli Subbarayudu staged an innovative protest demanding that Narasapuram be made the district headquarters. He participated in the all-party protest by sounding drums and dancing.
He also extended support to former TDP MLA Bandaru Madhava Naidu, who is on a hunger strike for the district headquarters.
Subbarayudu announced that he was ready to sacrifice his life for the Narasapuram district center. Only a few days ago, Subbarayudu attacked YSRCP MLA Mudunuri Prasad Raju over this.
He hit himself with chappal for making him the MLA. YSR Congress immediately disowned him as the in-charge minister, Perni Nani made critical comments on Subbarayudu.
Now Subbarayudu extending support to the TDP leader’s hunger strike is giving rise to rumors that he will be going back to the Cycle party soon.
After holding several positions in the Telugu Desam Party, Subbarayudu started a series of blunders in 2009. He joined Praja Rajyam Party in 2009 but lost the elections.
Later, in 2014, he joined the YSR Congress and lost the elections to the TDP.
After the elections, he returned to the TDP but quit the party to join YSR Congress just before the 2019 elections.
