Former minister Ravela Kishore Babu has resigned to the BJP. He has sent the resignation letter to this effect to state president Somu Veerraju.
“I joined BJP like Modi’s no corruption, sustainable and effective governance. The respect for Modi had attracted me more to the BJP. I thank you for giving me a good position in the party,” Ravela wrote.
In the letter, Ravela explained that he was resigning from the BJP due to personal and family issues.
Ravela who was a minister in Chandrababu Naidu‘s cabinet (till 2017) joined Janasena after he was upset about losing his cabinet berth.
He unsuccessfully contested the 2019 elections on a Jana Sena party ticket from Prathipadu in the Guntur district and later joined BJP after the elections.
Buzz is that Ravela is contemplating going back to TDP now.
Ravela was made the minister even though he is a first-time MLA. He made some critical comments about TDP while quitting the party.
So, the party cadre is not happy about taking him back again.
