Former DGP Samba Siva Rao met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu a little while ago in Amaravati and clarified that he is not interested in Direct Politics. He also added that he did not think of taking any nominated Post.
Samba Siva Rao recently met Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Vijay Sai Reddy immediately announced that he is joining YSR Congress. But the former DGP immediately condemned it and said it is only a courtesy visit as a CEO of Gangavaram Port.
So, the meeting with Chandrababu Naidu assumed significance. But Samba Siva Rao clarified to the media that there is no political significance to the meeting and he took to the notice of the Chief Minister about the problems of Gangavaram Port and Vishaka Steel Plant.
