Although originally a Western trend, Flash mobs are becoming increasingly popular in India and has also started being used as a tool for social causes. But things turned sour for a Flash mob group in Kerala when a woman rushed out of the crowd and slapped one of the members giving the performance.
Apparently, a bunch of college students were performing a Flash mob dance at the Payyanur bus stand in Kannur. But in the midst of performance, a sari clad woman came up and slapped one of the girls performing. Reports being circulated say that woman was the girl’s mother who was quite shocked to see her daughter dancing in the front row and started scolding her for playing truant while others suggest that the woman scolded the group for holding up traffic.
Whatever be the cause, the video of the incident has certainly gone viral!
