Bharatiya Mahila Bank – an exclusive bank for women began its first branch in AP at Ameerpet. This is the ninteenth branch of Bharatiya Mahila Bank in the entire nation. All the employees in the bank are women and will cater the banking needs of their gender counterparts. There will also be ATMs to this bank which will be also for the exclusive use of women. Ladies who hold other bank avcounts can also make use of these ATMs.
In the first phase, a branch of BMB will begin in the capital cities of all the states and will slowly expand to the target of making the bank available to every women of this country. Currently the staff training sessions in Ameerpet are going on and the branch will become operational very soon. Bank sources say the bank is already invoking interest in women of the surroundings.
