The first donation cheque for the construction of the state capital immediately after the Bhoomi Puja was given by Tadikonda TDP MLA, Sravan Kumar. He gave a cheque of 11.9 Lakhs to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu after the Bhoomi Puja.
Chandrababu appreciated Sravan and insisted every one to at least donate a brick to the Capital. Sravan Kumar also played a very important role in convincing the people of his constituency to give their lands for the capital land pooling.
The Singapore experts team will submit the seed capital master plan by the end of this month or early next month. Once all the plans are finalized, the capital construction will begin in Dussehra. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to fly in for laying the foundation stone that day.
