Telangana Rashtra Samiti President Kalvakunta Chandra Sekhar Rao is all set to swear in as the first Chief Minister of Telangana state on June 2nd. He is taking the charge amid huge expectations in the people over several years. Mr.Rao will have a plateful of issues to be dealt with but he has taken one issue as his first priority item. It is regarding the compensation Compensation for the families of Martyrs who laid their lives for Telangana.
In the election manifesto of his TRS party, KCR had promised Rs. 10 lakh, employment and cultivable agriculture land to the members of the martyrs’ families and he wants his first signature on this file. Farmers Loan Waiver, upgrading tribal hamlets as Gram Panchayats and pensions for the needy persons are the other priority items which KCR will also take up in his first day. KCR’s oath taking ceremony will be a simple affair in Raj Bhavan with very few invitees.He is expected to pay tributes to the martyrs before proceeding to Raj Bhavan.
