The Central Government is allocating a fund of 325 Crore for this purpose. Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and the Golden Temple in Amritsar are going to be the biggest beneficiaries of this decision. The GST paid so far will also be returned.

TTD is procuring Raw Material worth 96 Crore every year and is likely to get 4 to 5 Crore back with this decision. GST is already exempted from the Prasadam in Temples.
