Prime Minister Narendra Modi finally became the most followed Indian on the microblogging site Twitter. Until now, the post was occupied by legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan with about 22 million followers who is now the second most followed Indian.
Modi’s takeover of the most followed position suggests he has more than 22 million followers and we hear his followers count is precisely more than 22.1 million. Modi had the second most followed Indian position since January when he beat the King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, by almost 20,000 followers.
Reports say that Modi’s number of followers has been steadily increasing by a million after every two months. At this rate, we wonder who the Prime Minister will be surpassing next.
