Finally the crucial nativity file may get clearedThe crucial nativity issue that arises due to the shift of employees from Hyderabad to Amaravati may be resolved very soon. As the government is keen to shift the employees to Amaravathi by next June, the state government is anxiously waiting for center’s nod. It is said that the file may be cleared by this month end.

The file is struck with Union Law Ministry for about five months and the employees who are gearing up to go to Amaravati are worried about the nativity issues their children face if the issue is not resolved. It is said that the state government had received an indication that the work on this issue will be complete in 10-15 days and the final notification will be completed by this month end.

Article 371D makes children of AP government employees who are currently studying in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy as ‘local’ students to Telangana. They will become ‘non-local’ when they migrate to Vijayawada and Guntur. As a result, their educational and job opportunities will be affected. Employees are urging the government to resolve the issue before moving them to the Capital region.
