Film Nagar Visakhapatnam Bheemunipatnam Andhra PradeshAndhra Pradesh government is aggressively wooing the Telugu film industry to expand itself to the truncated state. As a part of it, the state government has allotted 15 acres of land for Filmnagar Cultural Club. But then the land got tangled in a serious issue and the state government is on the verge of dropping the proposal.

The land allotted between Vishakapatnam and Bheemunipatnam is very near to a Buddhist Monastery which was said to be formed Before Christ. Buddhists treat this as a holy place. The Religious heads and some political parties have agitated against giving land there for a club.

So, the government had decided to reconsider the proposal respecting the sentiment of the people. 60 feet Road Proposed here was also dropped now. In all probability, the government will cancel the land allotment and may allot land at another location for this Cultural Club.
