It is about 14 months Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao assumed office. He had promised developing Karimnagar on par with London and New York cities and changing the banks of LMD reservoir into Brindavan gardens. Forget about the London dreams, no single development work began in Karimnagar till date.
In fact things turned worse with haphazardly unscientific underground drainage works undertaken there. The sanitation works there have totally become worse. In the name of laying roads, huge trees are cut down.
The state government had announced 46 crore for beautifying the R&B roads in the town with footpaths, LED lights, etc. But the funds lay unused with R&B authorities not showing any interest in the beautification of the town.
