Fact Check: Zero Cases On Chandrababu Right from the days of YS Rajasekhar Reddy to Jagan, we often see/listen opponents of Chandrababu Naidu saying that he manages systems and got stay on eighteen cases against him in various courts.

But the fact is that Naidu has only one case against him and that too until February 22nd (yesterday). On Tuesday, Dharmabad court in Maharashtra struck down a case on Chandrababu Naidu and twenty three other former TDP leaders.

This case been filed against Naidu and others for staging a protest against Babli Project in Maharashtra way back in 2010. Back then, TDP alleged that Babli was one of the 14 projects being built by Maharashtra across the Godavari in violation of the Chief Minister’s treaty between the two States.

The project was threatening the future of 18 lakh-acre ayacut under SRSP in North Telangana districts. After seventeen years of legal battle, the court struck down the case. With the last case gone, Chandrababu Naidu has no cases pending on him in any court in the country.
