Dumping all the reports by various firms from Singapore and Japan in the previous government, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has appointed an expert committee that includes members from India with experience in urban planning. They were asked to reviews all the developmental plans initiated so far and suggest a report in Six Weeks.
The committee will also suggest a comprehensive development strategy for all-round development including in Amaravati. Interestingly, the committee did not have any member from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana and the government sources say this is to avoid any allegations of bias.
The committee includes Prof. Dr. Mahaveer, Professor of Planning, Dean (Academic), School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, Dr Anjali Mohan, Urban and Regional Planner, Prof. Shivananda Swamy, CEPT, Ahmedabad, Prof K.T. Ravindran, SPA (Retd), Delhi School of Architecture, Delhi and Dr. K.V. Arunachalam, Retd. Chief Urban Planner, Chennai.
The Government also asked the committee to co-opt one expert in Environmental Issues and Flood Management in the wake of allegations of Flood threat to the capital and various environmental norms violation. The report will decide the future of Amaravati.Don't MissA Day of Unbelievable Self-Goals by JaganChief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is committing small mistakes and playing into the hands...Don't MissKajal's Reply to the Fan's Marriage Proposal Is EpicKajal Aggarwal has been becoming active on social media lately and the beautiful actress has...Don't MissValmiki Review -A Typical But Lengthy Mass EntertainerBOTTOM LINE A Typical But Lengthy Mass Entertainer OUR RATING 2.5/5 CENSOR 'UA' -2 Hr...Don't MissReality Dawns on Mega Fans About YSR Congress? The district administration of Anantapur has decided to stop the release of Mega Prince Varun...Don't MissSalman Khan To Shoulder Sye Raa Hindi VersionMegastar Chiranjeevi's Magnum Opus film, Sye Raa Theatrical Trailer got released the other day.
