Ahead of Rajya Sabha Elections, there are reports that TDP may field a third candidate which will ensure voting for the three Rajya Sabha MP seats. Afraid of TDP poaching its MLAs, YSR Congress is planning foreign tours for the 44 MLAs it has.
The MLAs who are in Delhi for Maha Dharna the other day will be sent abroad through a Special Flight. All efforts are made to ensure that they do not have touch with outside World. If the third candidate files a nomination from TDP, they will come back only on the election day.
An industrialist from Nellore, Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy who was raided by Income Tax Officials recently was confirmed as YSR Congress’ Rajya Sabha MP Candidate. YSR Congress has brought in Vemireddy who can afford to keep the rest of the MLAs stick to the party with his money power.
